Wen (Jessica) Chen

Attorney Wen (Jessica) Chen is the principal and founding attorney of Chen & Associates.JC

Before being accepted by the Law School of Renmin University of China, Jessica was a senior accountant for the Central Bank of China with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics. While at the Central Bank, Ms. Chen was the recipient of several contest awards for excellence in her job duties. In addition to her skill with accounting, however, Ms. Chen also developed a remarkable analytical abilities and fierce determination.

She attended the top law school in China where she demonstrated her logic and analytic abilities and, inspired by her professor who just came back from Northwestern University Law School; Jessica joined the Indiana University School of Law after receiving an endorsement from her dean at the Law School of Renmin University of China.

Since Jessica became an attorney, she has assisted various and numerous clients with their green card applications. She has also successfully helped her clients set up companies, resolve disputes between shareholders, complete loan executions, settle lawsuits between landlords and tenants, draft wills and trusts, draft and execute company agreements, prepare corporate by-laws, and prepare related company documents.

Also, Jessica assisted clients with investment activities in China, including entry into the Chinese financial and economic markets, regulatory counseling, company registration and incorporation, joint-venture investments, corporate mergers and acquisitions, real estate investments, etc.

Jessica’s wide ranging experience has provided her with a variety of points of view with respect to the law, which enables her to efficiently analyze, address and resolve complex legal problems. Her combined knowledge of Chinese and U.S. law provides her with excellent training as an attorney, and a varied practice has allowed her to develop a flexible and considerate approach to the law, which, in turn, enables her to handle difficult legal issues.

Jessica is a proud member of the New York Bar Association, a regular member of Asian American Bar Association.

Jessica is fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
